Alongside Dental Hygiene studies, Dr. Rajpara also completed the Equivalency Certification Examination process to obtain a Dentist degree certificate (Equivalent to DDS) in 2016 and received the license to practice dentistry in Canada. Devang worked as an associate dentist for more than four years at a private practice in Belleville before deciding to take a leap forward and own this beautiful practice in Trenton. Devang and his wife live in Belleville with their two-year-old daughter. He has a great sense of humour, and he enjoys talking to the patients on topics outside of dentistry. Patients often describe his treatment approach to be very gentle, and he takes pride in it. He loves his patients and takes excellent care of their needs by providing honest opinions on necessary treatments. He is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. He loves to continue updating and enhancing his skills by taking continuing education courses frequently. Dr. Rajpara is an athletic person and loves to play sports like tennis, squash, cricket, volleyball, and table tennis when he finds time.

Dr.Shital Patel (Dentist)

Dr. Patel is also from India, and she also graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University in India in the year 2009, where she met Dr. Rajpara. She associated as a Dentist at a family-owned private practice for four years in her hometown in India after graduation. She gained a fair amount of work experience before moving to Canada with her husband. Shital also completed the Equivalency Certification Examination process to obtain a degree certificate (Equivalent to DDS) to practice Dentistry in Canada in 2017. She worked as an associate Dentist for a few years in Belleville at the same practice as Dr. Rajpara. Dr. Patel loves doing esthetic dentistry and creating beautiful smiles. She likes to keep her knowledge of dentistry up to date by taking multiple CDE courses. Shital has been an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. She enjoys watching TV shows, listening to music, and playing with her daughter during her leisure time.

Lois (Dental Receptionist)

I am the Dental Receptionist at Trenton Smiles. “You only get one chance to make a first impression: and your first impression is in the hands of the person who answers your phone call”. This has been my motto since I’ve been in this position. I really enjoy meeting new people, especially at work where I promise to give our clients dignity and respect, which is part of our office mission. My hobbies include singing in a church choir, keeping fit power walking, and enjoying nature at the cottage with my husband.

Sylvie (Dental Hygienist)

Sylvie has been in the dental industry since 1982, and is still enthusiastic about her career. Her focus is on the needs of others. She has “her heart in the right place”! Throughout the years, she followed her military husband in various locations, which allowed her to work both in Canada and the United States and brings a wealth of experience to patient care. Her goal is to help everyone find success in oral health. She has two grown sons who, like their father, chose to become engineers. Sylvie loves to cook, socialize and organize neighborhood street barbecues.
